He has turned himself into one of the best point guards in the NBA. Damian is also a good rapper perhaps one of the best basketball player rappers and has a few albums released. His father was Arvydas Sabonis a hall of fame NBA player who was also a center. Domantas's nickname is "Sabas jr."

He was a victim of an incident with Police in New York city where his leg was broken in the incident.
